On-line serviced apartment bookings are now possible through the new system launched by Accommotel in December 2009.
We decided not to follow the tried and tested on-line hotel reservations model, for several technical and legistic reasons – let me know if you are interested and I would be pleased to advise !
Instead, we have designed a system which is based on the “just-in-time” model made popular in the car-manufacturing industry of the 1970′s (yes I can remember that far back!) and still enployed today when you purchase some computer hardware on-line. The principle is the same: do not hold an inventory, but request according to demand. In this way we are able to offer the very latest rates, which means the very best rates in your serviced apartments.
Our reservations system will always be described as “new” because we will be constantly adding to the features, introducing what you want to see and removing and modifying elsewhere.
